Manimahesh Kailash Yatra starts from 6849/- per person

Manimahesh Kailash also known as Chamba Kailash, which stands towering high over the Manimahesh Lake, is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva. It is located in the Bharmour subdivision of the Chamba district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The peak is 26 kilometres from Bharmour and 13km from Hadsar. It is one of the most famous treks in Himachal Pradesh.

Manimahesh Lake is situated at the foot of Manimahesh Kailash. Lord Shiva is believed to reside on this snow-covered mountain. The lake and peak are considered sacred and a fair called as Manimahesh fair (Manimahesh kailash Yatra) is held at the lake in the month of August and September. The official Yatra held from Janamastmi to Radhastami each and every year. It is believed that on this occasion moment lacks of peoples comes from the country and abroad to both Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati gets the bath in the Lake. For this holy take holy bath in the Manimahesh Lake.

There are three major sanan (holy bath) during the yatra season. First sanan is Raksha Bandan Sanan, will be held on the occasion of festival Raksha Bandan. Second sanan is called Chota sanan, will start on 02 September 2018 on the holy occasion of Janamastami. And the third sanan is called Bada Sanan, will start on 17 September 2018 on the holy occasion of Radha Ashtmi.

Day-1 Bharmour-Chaurasi temple :
Arrive at Bharmour in the afternoon and check in into the hotel. Bharmour is known for its scenic beauty and its ancient temples. At evening visit famous historical Chaurasi Temple of Bharmour. Chaurasi Temple is located in the center of Bharmour town and it holds immense religious importance. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day-2 Bharmour – Bharmani Mata Temple – Bharmour -Hadsar – Dhancho :
Early in the morning, Visit Bharmani Mata Temple by taxi and then to hadsar from where trekking start for the Manimahesh Lake. Our today’s destination is Dhancho. Hadsar to Dhancho is 6 km by trek. Overnight in tents.

Day-3 Dhancho – Manimahesh – Dhancho :
After breakfast start towards Gauri kund and then to Manimahesh lake Via Sundarasi. We will reach at the by 11am. After Darshan of holy Manimahesh Kailash and take a holy dip into the lake retrun to Dhancho by Same Route and overnight stay in the tents.

Day 4 : Departure Day
Early in the morning, After breakfast, Start downhill trek to Hadsar and then to Bharmour by taxi. Departure from Bharmour after lunch.
