The Shrikhand kailash is situated in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. Shrikhand Kailash is one of the Panch Kailashes, Kailash Mansarover, Aadi Kailash, Manimahesh Kailash, Shrikhand Kailash, Kinner Kailash. It is one of the most challenging and adventurous trek in all treks in Himachal Pradesh. Shrikhand Mahadev is known for Lord Shiva according to the Hindu Mythology. The highest point of the trek is Shrikhand Mahadev top which is near about 17000 feet above the sea level. Shrikhand Mahadev, one of the hardest pilgrims in India. It is a splendid area of green valleys, gardens, vineyards, snow-covered peaks and boulders covered mountains. The best season for the Shrikhand mahadev yatra is June to September. It is very difficult Steep incline trek going through dense forest, rough glacier covers, and rocky moraine path. The trekking of Shrikhand Mahadev peak starts from Jaon village.

Day 1: Chandigarh – Rampur – jaon
Our outdoor crew will meet you in Chandigarh in evening. After Reception start overnight journey to jaon village from where the Shrikhand Mahadev yatra starts.
Day 2: jaon – 13 Meel
Reach Jaon in morning. After reaching Jaon take rest and having the breakfast and start trek to 13 Meel. It is the place between Jaon and Thachdu. On the way to Shikhand Mahadev first rest at Singhad which is also the base camp for the Shrikhand Mahadev yatra. Here registration done of all the pilgrims. The entire trek is going through devdar forest. At once we reached Barati Nala, we start to a steep ascent called “Dandi Dhaar”. The dandi dhaar trail is end at the top of the kali ghati. After reaching 13 Meel take rest and overnight stay in tents.
Day 3: 13 Meel – Bheem Talai
Early in morning, after breakfast the start Shrikahand kailash trek. After 2-3 hour of tough walk through Deodar forest we reach Thachdu. After taking some rest at Thachdu, we resume our journey. After 1km from Thachdu we come across the tree line. The kali ghati top is 3 km far from the Thachdu which take 2-3 hours to complete. At once we reach the top of the kali ghati. The trek is now more easy then dandi dhar. It’s time to trek downhill for some kilometers. Our today’s target Bheem Talai is 1.5 km from kali ghati top. After reaching the Bheem Talai, take rest and overnight stay in tents.
Day 4: Bheem Talai – Bheemdwar/paravati baag
Early in morning, after breakfast we start our trekking of Shrikhand Mahadev. The day is quite easy day. The all trail is going through scenic beauty of snow covered mountains, passing through glaciers, waterfalls and look at different types of medicinal herbs. After 2-3 hour of walk we reach Kunsa. After taking some rest at Kunsa we resume our journey to bheemdwar or paravati baag. Early in the evening, we reached bheemdwar. Take some rest and after that go and explore the beauty near you. Overnight stays in tents.
Day 5: Bheemdwar/paravati baag – Shrikhand mahadev – Bheemdwar/paravati baag
This is the toughest day of the Shrikahand kailash trek because the entire trek is over to the boulders and glaciers. The water is available only at the Nain Sarovar so keep your water bottle. The higher altitude is making it more difficult. The weather is play important role in today’s trekking. You have to ready for the rain and snow fall. After having breakfast and take packed lunch with us we start our Shrikhand kailash trek at 3am. So we reach on the top at 10-11am. After performing pooja and darshan, we start downhill trek thought the big boulders and glaciers. After reaching the Bheemdwar/paravati baag in evening, take rest and Overnight stays in tents.
Day 6: Bheemdwar/paravati baag – 13 Meel
After having breakfast we start our trek to 13 meel. On the way to 13 meel enjoy the scenic beauty of snow capped mountains, passing through glaciers, waterfalls. At bheem talai we stopped for lunch and take some rest here. After take some rest at bheem talai we resume our trek to 13 Meel. The most of the today’s trail is downhill. After reaching out today’s target, take rest and overnight stay in tents.
Day 7: 13 Meel – Jaon – Chandigarh
After having breakfast we start our trek to jaon. After 3-4 hour of walk through Deodar forest we reach Jaon. After reaching Jaon, we start our journey to Chandigarh. Some where we stopped for lunch and then resume our journey. Late in the evening, our outdoor crew will drop you at Chandigarh Railway station or Bus stand.
